New format of Computer Based Assessment
The new format of assessment in applying for Certificate of Validation, Assessment and Approval of 12 or 36 months Sea-Going Service/s (Formerly BS Assessment), is now being use by UCMETC Shipboard Training Office.
The Assessment format of this new CBA is based on the 19 for & 17 competencies for OIC-NW and OIC-EW Licensure Board Examination set by the ADMINISTRATION ( MARINA ), how-ever the process of taking a Re-sit was revised to fit with school QMS requirements
A new Computer Based Program , was develop by unselfish group of programmers from UCMETC's Electronics Data Processing (EDP) office will be use to manage this Assess-ment program.

MARINA Circular 2016-01
The content of this circular is a Amendment of MARINA Circular 2014-02, that the Daily Journal was already excluded on requirements of OIC Licensure Examination.
On this same circular also, the Maritime Higher Education Institutions (SCHOOL), are directed by the Administration (MARINA) to ensure the requirements of the Daily Journal has been strictly followed by all maritime cadets.

Avail this opportunity given by our local MARINA office, in helping you cadets to expedite your application of SIRB. Don't be late come 30 mins before 0800H for your priority number. Those who are pre-applied will have priority number at the the STO-Window.

Requirements for accepting application:
1. NBI Clearance with six months validity
2. Original NSO Birth Certificate
3. Valid BT Certificate issued by any MARIAN accredited training center;
4. 1x1 picture

2.Certificate of Completion of the Pre-Shipboard Training, STCW theoretical Compentency Assessment.
